A Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring that the project objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget.
The following are the primary duties of a Planning Engineer:
Developing project schedules and timelines
- Tracking project progress and updating schedules accordingly
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans
- Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Analyzing project data and providing recommendations for improvements
- Preparing reports (MIS) and presentations for project stakeholders
- Ensuring that all project documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Participating in project meetings and providing updates on project status
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Managing project resources effectively.
